Welcome to my blog! Follow my journey as I dance through my early 20s—Next stop, graduation!
My name is Kaylee Bosse, and I am a San Diego native with the pleasure of pursuing my two passions as a Writing and Dance double major at Gonzaga University! I have recently returned from a semester-long journey to London and thought it was the perfect opportunity to finally start the blog I’ve always dreamed of having and share my thoughts, struggles, and triumphs as I trek through this season of transformation.
I should clarify that this is not a travel blog despite the name, “Big World, Tiny Dancer.” Rather, the name is meant to emphasize that the world is big, and I’m just a tiny dancer trying to make sense of it all and live the best, most compassionate life I can as I graduate from college and enter the real world. The past few years have been some of the hardest but most fulfilling of my life, so I hope to infuse what I’ve learned from my struggles with mental health and ensuing walk with Jesus into my posts. My dream is to write for Pointe Magazine, a publication that focuses on professional ballet based in New York City. I hope for this blog to become not only a stepping stone to this dream, but a place to think, share, connect, and grow with all of you. By sharing the struggles and life lessons I pick up through my experiences, I want nothing more than for people reading my work to breathe a sigh of relief and say, “me too.”
